my friend wants this on a hoodie, and he JUST asked me today, oh noes!

how long did it take?

I started it around Thanksgiving, and worked on it for a little bit every day, so almost two months. That's one of the longest non-sewing projects I've ever taken on. Good luck on doing your friends hoodie!

Thanks!! Cross stitch is pretty basic, from what I've found so far. I did two of Subversive Cross Stitch's other patterns right before this, and they're real easy. I like a craft you can do while watching TV!

I started on this right after election day from Julie Johnsons Subversive Cross Stitch pattern, wow it took forever! This was my third cross stitch ever and I'm so happy to get it done.

I love it, as I generally love all the stuff you post! Was the gold leaf a bitch to work with? I think I might experiment with this myself, it just looks SO cool and guy-worthy (sometimes it's hard to make something for the manly type, I've found!). Glad you were able to get out of the house to deliver it!
