1  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Homecoming mums! (super image heavy) on: November 12, 2007 01:53:09 PM
Homecoming was a while ago, so these are a bit old, but here's all the 6 mums and 1 garter I made for my friends:

This one was for my friend Lin; we have an inside joke about giraffes XD

This one had origami cranes for a friend who is, like me, super into Japanese culture.

Aaaand this one was for a fellow Firefly junkie, with the quote "I aim to misbehave."

SWEET! I love katamari! That was a really good idea to use magnets to pick up stuff. I've been wanting to make a little katamari set, but probably would've done something silly like velcro...thank you so much!

4  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Medals on: October 07, 2007 10:24:55 PM
hmm, you could use them as decoration on clothing? Like a belt buckle type thing or or on a purse. Especially with debate medals, you could add wording or something to play on the whole "don't mess with me, I know how to win an argument" aspect. XD

You could make a coasters by going around them with clay/sculpy or paper mache, and then you could decoupage it with the theme of the medal.
5  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: $0.50 notebook + paper = ah-mazing on: October 03, 2007 08:30:47 AM
O_O these are ADORABLE! Really cute paper. I love cheap composition books for everything, but I hate the blah covers that make it impossible to tell which is which. It's a great way to personalize them!

oooh, that's awesome! I've had a big circular cookie tin sitting around without purpose, and this gave me a lot of ideas. Thank you for sharing this!
7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Frumpy to cute! on: September 28, 2007 07:58:28 AM
oooh, that's so cute! It really did the contrast of the black against the pale yellow.

haha, that's so cool! It seems like a neat way to stand out and make your own statement, that goes with most outfits too.
