I've received another:

I desperately want friends, but I had such crappy ones growing up that I don't give anyone new a chance.

Ok, I've pretty much just started to receive due to a break-in at our apt. mailboxes.  Until they are done redoing all the locks, I have to pick up mail from the post office in my neighborhood with an ID...  the PO is open from 9am to 5pm...  I work from 8:30am to 5:30pm.  So, we only get mail when my husband goes on his lunch break.  This seems to take the equivalent energy of asking him to cure world hunger  Wink  lol  ANYWAY... Here's what I've gotten!!

I hate how she sings

Most of the time (ok all of it) I think I'm smarter than anyone I know

He proposed to me while he was high on pot.

The first one I can relate to a bit, only because I think there are some way famous singers who should not be  Tongue

To Smarter - Don't worry, you're not alone.

The last one I really can't relate to, but I wonder how that turned out...

I'm here and I'm ready to claim!  I've had finals so I've been busy studying!

Anyway, I'd like to claim the FQ of purple print cotton, FQ sports flannel and 1/2 yard of checkered fabric.  ::Does math in head, yup that should be right  Cheesy ::

Here's what I have!  Everything is 100% cotton unless it says otherwise.  I'll add even more tonight, I'm cleaning out the garage to set up my studio so there's lots I'm bound to find:

Bright Blue tie dye flannel up to 1 yard

Teapots - just short of 1 yard, we'll call it 3/4 yard

Cats and clouds - 1/2 yard

Pokemon - 2 yards total available

Butterflies on blue - up to 1 yard

Bears - 2 yard total available  Gator - 1/2 yard available  *Aliens no longer available

Plaid Pigs - 1 yard   Americana town - 1/2 yard

Bright fish on bright pink - 2 yards total available

Red Toile Flowers - up to 1 yard  *Red Toile scenic no longer available

Daisies - 1/2 yard   Butterflies on light blue - up to 1 yard  Veggies - up to 1/2 yard

Baseball Bears - 2 yards total available

Parachutes and hot air balloons - 1/2 yard

I don't mind cutting anything if you want smaller pieces.  Everything has been washed (as far as I know, I inherited most of these and others were given to me to make quilts to donate but I need things that coordinate a little better)

7  Bright Baby Rag Blankie in Baby Showers And Gifts For New Babies by SpunSugar on: April 23, 2008 09:42:18 PM
I wasn't sure if I should put this in quilting or here, but I figured I didn't really quilt this one so I'd just put it here!  This is one of the rag quilt/blankies I've made recently.  I really liked how the colors turned out on this one, it was for a baby brother of one of our preschool students at the school I work at.

Top of Blankie:

Close up of top:

I don't have any pics of it after I washed it, I was too excited to give it to baby!  I'd love any feedback!  This blankie was a small one, about 28" square, but baby was a premie and barely weighs 12 pounds now (he was born super bowl sunday).

8  My first charms and beads in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by SpunSugar on: August 15, 2007 07:11:40 PM
Here's my first clay charms and beads!  I make charm bracelets already but these are the first charms I've made from clay.  I was excited to try to make a cake and while my first two ended up being smushed up into something else, I was really happy when this one turned out!  (the pasta machine made all the difference!)  The beads were made out of some scraps with the help of a 5 yr old  Grin

I need to gloss everything yet but I'm not sure what to use.  I can't find any of the Sculpey gloss at the craft stores near me.  I have a spray on acrylic gloss, does anyone know if that would work?

Thanks for looking!!
