Thanks all- It was a baby blue onesie, and I had tried some Shout on it on one of those first washes, with no luck.  So I tried throwing it in with a bleach load and slathering it up with Shout and that did the trick!  It may be ever so slightly paler blue now, but that's OK.  Thanks for the help! Cheesy

I ironed a transfer pattern onto a onesie and then decided I wanted to do a different design.  I've washed it twice and you can still see the pattern- Is there anyway to get it off?

TIA! Cheesy

10  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / What's that stuff called... on: July 08, 2007 09:07:06 PM
Hello!

This is my first post here, I found the forum through the Sublime Stitching site.  I have a bunch of the patterns and a bunch of stuff ready to embroider... What I don't have is a lot of time! Smiley  I have a 2yo daughter who likes to "help" so I generally have to stitch when she's asleep.

My question, for now, is this:  I have bought embroidered clothes that had some sort of backing over the stitching, on the inside of the shirt (or whatever) to keep the knots/backside of the pattern from itching or catching.  I'm not talking about stabilizer, I've got that down- but this is almost a silky sort of fine mesh material that looks like it's ironed on over the finished design.  I have a new baby on the way and would like to start making some onesies for her, but I want to protect her little baby skin somehow!

Any idea what I'm talking about and where I can find it?
