391  digital sketch--would love some feedback in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by loudxmouse on: February 20, 2008 12:39:02 AM
Even though I am a design student, I have not had much time to tinker with any sort of digital doodling. I am not much a doodler as it is, but I found digital doodling SO refreshing and fun!
here is my first doodle.
constructive crit would be a blasty blast.

the swirls were an afterthought. I plan to silkscreen her.

395  Re: Can You Make Yarn Out Of This? Handspun Art Yarn Swap in The Swap Gallery by loudxmouse on: January 14, 2008 09:58:56 AM
here's what came of my spinning!!!! adriennec sent me some killer fleece artist wenslydale wool, locks, beads and angelina PLUS some really pretty inego to try out (which was not incorporated in this yarn). It's full of twists, overspun bits and crazy.

here we go. I call it "darkplace" because I plied it while watching "gath merengie's darkplace" haha
wenslydale as the base with locks spun in at random as well as generous amounts of sparkle, plied with holographic thread with seed beads on it. 150 yds.

this swap was mad-fun! i would do it again in a heartbeat!

hope you get yours soon adriennec!

397  nes themed psp cozy in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by loudxmouse on: December 28, 2007 10:55:44 AM

few years ago I knit a DS cozy for the BF's brother. He LOVED it (it had link from zelda on it and beltloops on the back) and he uses it pretty much every day. SO in the rush of the last 3 days before christmas (and my flying to florida) I sewed up this PSP cozy. It is made of fleece, felt, a sweater that my mom had accidentally just felted, and a grey tee shirt that my dad decided he didn't like anymore. haha. Also, i single crocheted cascade fixation (a cotton and elastic yarn) and turned it into a button loop
I was in a pinch.... and this is what I got!
