I need a 15" long, separating zipper. Anyone have one lying around so I don't have to schlep a baby to the fabric store?
I need to finish this hoodie for halloween

What I cute hoodie! I have some separating zippers. I'm not sure what size, but I can check when I get home from work.

Hi loudxmouse. I checked I only have 14'' and 16'' separating zippers.

I'll do 16 to be safe! What color? The hoodie is grey, but honestly I'm not picky if it keeps me out of the craft store.... it's safer for my wallet that way

Oh I forgot...I may also list some dandelion filled glass globe necklaces as well, if anyone is interested.

Those sound so lovely! I suspect it would be broken in seconds around my house though Sad

I have black in 16'' and I think white and light blue. The only issues with the white and light blue is they are metal and so the zipper pulls are kind of bulky. Let me know if any of those would work.

black would be perfect! thank you!

Ooh another thought, anyone planning to make any chapsticks/lip balms for their shop? I am obsessive about my chapsticks  Cheesy
I've got goodie to make lotion bars if anyone is interested! hmmm... chapstick might be fun!

I just wrote up a new pattern for a pikachu!

http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/chibi-pikachu

If anyone wants one I need to test knit another one Smiley

Hey, sB --
has anyone (like LxM) taken you up on your flip-top mittens?

Not sure I could make those, but I could definitely do these (not sure if you are
open to this style?)
http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/long-flap-fingerless-mitts-worsted-weight-version

Just throwing that idea out there (for you or anyone else who might be interested....)

oh dear, I have a reputation! Nope, I'm knitting some other mitts for her though. lol. I just need to gather my yarn, but baby girl has been napping for ages in our room, which is where the yarn lives :/

I stenciled some Onsies!
This one is a 3mo long sleeve Onsie. I also have an adult sized stencil that i want  to put on running tanktops, in the same vein as all those "train like a beast, look like a beauty" out "train insane or remain the same" kind of shirts.
Any interest?

HI LL,
do hang out and chit chat, even if you don't swap Wink

I have about a million things swirling around in my head. I have SO many ideas!
I want to start selling wool dryer balls, baby clothes and wool diaper soakers in my etsy shop, but my shop as it stands has paintings and graphic design stuff. Should I make a SECOND shop to keep them more thematic or do you like to see an eclectic shop?

ALSO: I need a quick and easy to to silkscreen my logo on some apparel tags. does anyone have a yudu machine that could throw together a little screen for me?

ALSO ALSO: this is my first draft of my logo. What do you think?

39  Looking for southwestern-inspired Jersey Knits in Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions by loudxmouse on: April 01, 2014 10:34:54 PM

HI! I am a newbie sewist so I don't know the best places to look yet, so pardon if this is a stupid question.
I am looking for southwestern-inspired/pendelton-patterned jersey knits.
I have made a few pairs of pants and maxi-skirts for my infant daughter from old clothes of mine and I have been asked to make more for friends, but I don't have any more old skirts and stuff so I figure I will just have to go the "legit" route and get fabric. lol
thanks for any help you can give me. Like I said I am a noob

Just looked through my pins, and I would love some thick slippers like these, or a fun hat like this or this!
I could make the slippers for sure! I have the yarn on hand and everything if you wanted them olive green!
I am making a teeny baby cardigan/shrug right now to match the Babe's tiny easter dress right now, but it should only take like another 2 hours since it's so small!
