I bet a local color guard would be really happy to get some. Color guard flags cost an arm and a leg. (Thank goodness I'm in the band, right?)

Haha I was wondering if someone was going to say color guard.  My friend worked on some flags and I'm sure a guard would love to have some fabric.

I completely agree that that's the never ending afghan.  I'm making the same one and I'm on my fourth year working on it (Also with many hiatuses).  Congrats on finishing it, it looks great!  I hope I can finish mine sometime soon too.
