Last year, I got behind and missed the deadline to submit something to the Minnesota State Fair. this year, i decided to start early, and can't believe how quickly I managed to finish.
In May 08, I took a photo of the Spoonbridge & Cherry Sculpture at the Sculpture Garden at the Walker Art Museum here in MPLS. (Learn more about the actual sculpture here: http://collections.walkerart.org/item/object/713
Of course, the original photo is saved on my other computer! But here's the finished piece.
i started it about a month or so ago (oh goodness-- not sure) . specs-- 3x5 inches, completely stitched on 22. Palette of 70 colors. Over 7000 stitches.
