1  CRAFTSTER CRAFT CHALLENGES / Craftster Craft Challenge Theme Ideas, Etc. / Re: Bridesmaid dresses Challenge on: October 05, 2010 07:46:41 PM
When I was little, I was a flower girl. My mom made the dress. Years later she used that fabric to make a wedding dress for a large porcelain doll. I still have the doll.

I bet any American girl doll would look good in a new fancy dress!

How are you making your beads? I have just started making them myself and its a bit time consuming getting started. Once  I get it started its easy from there. I saw one person uses toothpicks, I was going to try that.

They look great by the way!

I have taken square fabric napkins and made pennants out of them. I want to put another fabric on the pointed edge for contrast but I can't do it  Undecided I have sewn and taken it apart a few times already.

What is the best way to put the 2 fabrics together at a point???

(OK, I was going to add a pic but photobucket has locked me out  Roll Eyes , I hope you understand me description and can help Cheesy )
