Well my lost package has caused more of an issue than I could have thought. I have been out, Black friday shopping, since 11pm last night and cannot find the supplies locally. So I had to switch plans on what I will do for that day, still will be good and another item my crafty goodness partner will enjoy, but you know when you set out with a plan in your head of what you are looking for and the total frustration in not finding it!

Lines weren't long here though. My DD and I do black friday every year and we have rules "No place with Mart in the name is visited on Black Friday" etc. But, we were in the parking lot where Walmart is and it was dead! I have seen more cars in that parking lot on a tuesday at 11am. Joann fabrics the cutting line was only 20 people deep not 200, Best buy was packed with people buying tablets and they had a separate line for that but even Target the line was moving along fast total time in line was like 10 min.

So for me it was great I was able to source some super cool stuff for my partner to replace the lost package and then did enough shopping that I am almost done and my youngest DS's Bday is New years eve so I always get his Bday gifts now too.

I have this swap to finish, my spinning group Christmas swap to complete, a couple items still in the works for family and friends and I am officially done!

Ok off to decorate because now I am so wired on dunkin donuts I will pass out later once my body realizes I have been going for too long with no sleep!

I cannot believe 1st send out deadline is almost here! It always goes so fast!

Work has been unbelievable! Not usually this busy this time of year but after week 3 of 70+ hrs its NUTS and totally cutting into my crafty creativity time! Not slowing down anytime soon either so I am super happy I got a good head start on everything otherwise I would have nothing to ship.

My box has just disappeared off the face of the earth that held supplies for one of the higher # days so I am just going to have to go shopping and see what I can find locally to replace what never came. The shop owner offered to resend but I don't want to chance them not arriving so just had my $$ refunded.

Well almost 5 pm here, just got home, need to make dinner then can get an hour of crafting in before fetching a kid. Possibly some more crafting time tonight inbetween laundry bleh

From my wonderful partner

Day 12:

Felted stitch markers and little felted magnetic balls!

Day 11:

This wonderful set of trays, really cute coasters, some new wine glasses for the holidays. I love it and will be well used this week!

Day 10:

So cute! I love the large balls with items decoupaged inside and out very creative and all the smaller ornaments to fit on my tree!

Day 9:

Sewing supplies! You know when a sewer buys for a sewer you get things like a much needed stash of seem rippers and machine needles!

Day 8:

Well there was a small incident. All the gifts were put under the tree and with 4 dogs that was a bad idea! This is all that remains of day 8 as they ate the rest. Thankfully there was only some minor indigestion on their part...very ironic once you see day 6.

Day 7:

Too cute and we made similar items. Lots of new barrettes and head bands!

Day 6:

see the perfectly in-tacked bag of dog treats? yeah they didn't touch those.

a jar of whimsies

Day 5:

3 new wonderful outdoor headbands, a scarf from a recycled sweater with pockets, a heat pad, and a needle holder.

And this wonderful throw made out of felted sweaters

Day 4:

2 fabulous tea towels with vintage fabrics, 2 sewing books, the water color quilts may make me actually get more into quilting, A tote bag to decorate and 2 packs of wool for felting.

Day 3:

Fingerless mittens...I can never have enough, hand warmers and the hearts are reusable hand warmers, these will be perfect at work. Some Christmas trivia cards and ribbons and jersey knit fabric with reindeer on it.

Day 2

This fabulous fleece coat, which funny enough I already have this fabric too I used to make a blanket last year LOVE IT!

And this adorable shrug

I received day 1 yesterday

This wonderful up-cycled tote from a woman's suit coat, a leather coat and mens suspenders.

Thank you soo much I love it!

She also sent a skein of a heather purple wool yarn and asome fleece fabric for St Patty's day!

Miss Barbara so sorry to hear about you DH hopefully he heals quickly! I can believe thats pretty painful.

Staying warm, working a lot and being very thankful our area of upstate NY hasn't really had too much weather activity but I know its impending soon. Can hold off the snow to long.

I have a package of supplies that seems to have gone MIA grrr The place I bought them from is being cool about it, if they don't show up by the end of next week they will replace. Only issue is its delaying items I really need for a day. Hopefully something shows up quick here.

Its freezing in upstate ny all the leaves have changed and most fell right off. Winters creeping in! Perfect to stay in and craft. I am home all weekend yay! Planning on making up a lot of freezer/crockpot meals this weekend because our schedules are so out of hand here no on thaws out a thing, i have some plastering to do which then needs to dry so then the balance will be crafting.

I have a really hard time with xsmalls too i have been able to create a couple but they are part of a larger assortment of items.

Started scoping out boxes i have a little stock pile at work to choose from for shipping, would be nice if we could ship from there but they disallowed that years ago. May get a few days done though and ship some in early so I am not hauling jumbo box to the post office on the last day.

Still crafting away and picked up some more supplies tonight.

I love when I bring swap items places to work on them. Last week I got OMG what? You're like just giving that away to someone? for like free? someone you have never met? seriously?

Some people just will never understand!

Anyhoo...is it okay to count multiples of something that could be used individually (like a coaster, just for an example) as multiples when you make many to make a set (like ornaments, for example)...and count them individually as items for the days?  (i.e.-a set of eight items like the ones above for day eight)

I received coasters in this before each were hand made so each were counted as 1 item so a set of 4 say would be 4 items not 1 as a set of coasters. 8 handmade ornaments I would also call each an individual item. I did 12 crochet snowflakes in this before as day 12 each was its own item if I made 12 or 12 different ornaments my fingers would have gone on strike before day 11!

For me personally the line is like buying a box of 12 ornaments and saying thats day 12 or buying a coaster set them calling each an individual item if no crafting has been added to each I would think would be stretching the counting out a bit, but then again I get creative with math in swaps and go uhhh  4 and 3 and 4 and 2 yep thats day 5....somehow the math makes sense in my head!

Had a FABULOUS Weekend at another fiber fest. I love festival season! I ran across a few things to use for my partner and scooped them up.

Still having a blast creating for my wonderful partner. Several things I want to keep but alas they will get wrapped and sent.
