1  Re: 12 Days Of Christmas Swap 2012 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Bugaboo1 on: November 18, 2012 01:35:08 PM
From my wonderful partner

Day 12:

Felted stitch markers and little felted magnetic balls!

Day 11:

This wonderful set of trays, really cute coasters, some new wine glasses for the holidays. I love it and will be well used this week!

Day 10:

So cute! I love the large balls with items decoupaged inside and out very creative and all the smaller ornaments to fit on my tree!

Day 9:

Sewing supplies! You know when a sewer buys for a sewer you get things like a much needed stash of seem rippers and machine needles!

Day 8:

Well there was a small incident. All the gifts were put under the tree and with 4 dogs that was a bad idea! This is all that remains of day 8 as they ate the rest. Thankfully there was only some minor indigestion on their part...very ironic once you see day 6.

Day 7:

Too cute and we made similar items. Lots of new barrettes and head bands!

Day 6:

see the perfectly in-tacked bag of dog treats? yeah they didn't touch those.

a jar of whimsies

Day 5:

3 new wonderful outdoor headbands, a scarf from a recycled sweater with pockets, a heat pad, and a needle holder.

And this wonderful throw made out of felted sweaters

Day 4:

2 fabulous tea towels with vintage fabrics, 2 sewing books, the water color quilts may make me actually get more into quilting, A tote bag to decorate and 2 packs of wool for felting.

Day 3:

Fingerless mittens...I can never have enough, hand warmers and the hearts are reusable hand warmers, these will be perfect at work. Some Christmas trivia cards and ribbons and jersey knit fabric with reindeer on it.

Day 2

This fabulous fleece coat, which funny enough I already have this fabric too I used to make a blanket last year LOVE IT!

And this adorable shrug

I received day 1 yesterday

This wonderful up-cycled tote from a woman's suit coat, a leather coat and mens suspenders.

Thank you soo much I love it!

She also sent a skein of a heather purple wool yarn and asome fleece fabric for St Patty's day!

I received! (a week ago I feel horrible)

We blew our modem and router and just got internet back at home today so thankfully I can finally post some pics of what my wonderful partner sent me. However, my husband took these while I was at work and I feel more pics are needed so I will be posting more once he's home and can take more with my direction

Here is everything. She made an adorable apron out of recycled blue jeans with added fat quarters for bias tape and pockets. 2 bars of handmade soap with a really great guide to making hot process soap with recipes! A reusable fabric bag out of a t-shirt with a small draw string pouch out of the rest of the t-shirt. Some coasters or small scrubbies, not sure but they could work as either. And, 4 reusable tule produce bags woohoo!

This unfortunately is the one and only close up my husband took so I'll get more because 1/2 the stuff isn't shown off.

The cutest was she packaged it all up in a cereal box, used packing paper to wrap it and mailed it off.

Thank you so much hawkeyes_girl for putting up with my loss of internet and the wonderful package!

Here is my package from MrsKristina

She sent not 1 but 2lbs of local coffee and then 2 extra little packs I can take to work with me.

An adorable spiral scarf out of soft fleece and a fleece rice hot bag to snuggle up with....came in handy already my feet are always cold when I get into bed so this helped warm the bed up!

I am glad all yours arrived in 1 piece...maybe the biscotti not so much? looks like they broke up a bit?

The tea pot though was the redesign I saw it in an antique store so instead of sending my initial intended drink accessory I made the teapot cozy out of wool with the small tea pot I thought was adorable

Hope it gets a lot of use!

Here is my wonderful package from pseudo_pix!

A beautiful scarf in a ocre yellow tweed wool...so soft! A set of fingerless mitts I adore! Then a container of (I think 16 or so) Mozart's balls, lost count because we all keep eating them. They are wonderful and no frets on the pistachio I have had them both with almond and pistachio depending on the country of origin they were bought in. Homemade is always better.

Then a log of the confection which I have now hid in a secret location known only to me.
