32  Baby Canvases ready for the show in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by SuzannahAshley on: June 23, 2010 01:08:03 PM
Here they are, all finished and ready to be dropped off tonight!

You can see larger versions of them in my Flickr Art Set (so as not to make this post TOO huge) and I'll be posting about them in my blog eventually.

I made this ATC for the Cute Zombie ATC swap on Swap Bot. I hope my partner likes him.  Shhh, he's just been sent out in the mail today.

34  New Mini Paintings - Stitch Cat and Stitch Bat in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by SuzannahAshley on: June 15, 2010 07:47:45 AM

Two more tiny paintings completed for the Baby Canvases II show.

Little Stitch Cat thinks you should stop what you are doing and give him some head scratches. And that flapping you hear by your head is just Little Stitch Bat, so don't be alarmed. He just wants to see what you are up to.

35  Wisp Girl - Graphite on Paper in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by SuzannahAshley on: June 09, 2010 07:32:18 AM

I finished her up last night.  She is a polished up drawing of a sketch I did a few months back. I actually kinda prefer the original sketch, with its messy lines, but I wanted to make a cleaner version. I'll have to work on making things a bit cleaner but still retaining some of the sketchy feel I like.

This was the original sketch.

I'm working on some pieces for the upcoming Baby Canvases II show at the Soundry. I doodle this guy at lunch today, and when I got home, couldn't wait and slapped him onto a canvas.
He's 2x3 inches, acrylic on canvas.  14 more to go.  Tongue

39  Bunny Puppet Fabric Pattern in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by SuzannahAshley on: May 10, 2010 12:35:31 PM
Sorry if this is the wrong place for this. http://www.spoonflower.com is having a puppet design contest. The idea is to fit a puppet onto a fat quarter sized piece of fabric that someone can buy the print and then sew together. Entries are due tomorrow if anyone else is interesting in entering.  Below is my cute bunny entry.

40  I believe you, but my tommy gun don't! in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by SuzannahAshley on: May 03, 2010 08:05:22 AM
Apparently one of my sisters thought that a line from the song "Here comes the hotstepper" said "I'm a leprechaun gangster" (disclaimer: I used to think the same line said "i'm a miracle gangster") Her boyfriend was most amused by this and asked if I could make a plush of a Leprechaun Gangster as a funny surprise. He was sent out yesterday and I can't wait to see what she thinks. Cheesy
