2  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Painting for a bland bedroom on: October 28, 2007 12:13:04 PM
We just moved in and my poor bedroom was looking quite bare. So I decided to paint a series to hang over my bed. It is acrylic on canvas. Thanks for looking!

3  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Pet photos for calendar (img. heavy!) on: October 22, 2007 08:13:37 PM
I am working on a calendar for my husband for Christmas. He loves his Gypsy-Doodle sooo much so I am photographing her for each month, this is what I have so far:

4  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / B&W and hand tinted photos (warning: adult content, img heavy) on: October 22, 2007 07:36:39 PM
I used to shoot erotic photography for women. These are all shot on film, developed in my own darkroom and hand tinted. Very tasteful mind you, the subject is my husband! I really never went anywhere with it, but I love to shoot. I would love some constructive criticism. Thanks!

5  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / A few more of my paintings....... on: October 22, 2007 07:24:14 PM
Here are a few more of my paintings. I don't paint very often, and don't think I am very good at it, but I like to do it! Constructive criticism welcome!

I did a personal swap with a sweetie from Iceland named Kinnat:

and she sent me some fantastic Lopi Wool yarn. She sent me 7 skeins of all different colors so I decided to make some warm wool mittens! I still have enough to make a hat! Whooo hoooo!

7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Kitty Scoodie! Thanks to Vegbee for the tute! on: October 17, 2007 05:40:28 PM
I saw her tute and just had to make one. I made it for Sam, but added kitty ears and used leopard faux fur to line it. She is so cute in it!

8  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Elivs has left the building, but left his hair behind! on: October 12, 2007 09:45:08 AM
George is modeling my newest creation, the Elvis hat! I crocheted this hat out of Lion Wool on the round. I couldn't tell you how I did it, but I did felt the crap out of it! It will be great for those bad hair days!

And an update: The Elvis hair on a human (Eric to be exact!)

I think I am going to do a whole line of celebrity hair, and I am going to buy the store out of wool! Muahahahaha!
9  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Earflap "skullcap" on: October 10, 2007 01:53:09 PM
I made this hat for a friend of mine. I like so much I want to keep it, but I guess I will just have to make me one! It is a pattern I made myself, just sc and hdc on the round. I used Woolease Chunky and Shetland Tweed. Don't mind George, he is just modeling it for me. Get it? Skullcap?  Grin

10  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Woven Fashion Scarf....yeah, I can make that! on: October 07, 2007 07:40:24 PM
So I was out shopping and I saw this beautiful scarf at a department store. It was a simple crocheted scarf with yarn woven into it. I couldn't believe the price tag....$40.00! So I thought to myself, I can make that! I went home and raided my stash and an hour later I had this:

For the base I used Bernat Softee Chunky in black and for the weave I used a few balls of stuff I had left over from other projects. The base is just a fishnet stitch with a K hook, and then I wove the colors in. I love using yarn I thought I would never use! Just goes to show you should keep all your remnants! (don't mind my PJ's HAHAHA!)

Thanks for looking!
