Hi,
So here's my critique:
The 2nd photo is nice, the negative space surrounding a detailed scene is a nice theme but the figure is posed in an unflattering position (to much crack if you will), what else is on the contact sheet? I would like the rose photo even more with out the hand coloring, I LOVE the models pose and the depth of field bouquet is nice but I would like all that to be balanced with the foreground having more detailed black blacks and white whites -you can achieve this by just "burning" in the roses with a 5 filter to add contrast, and then using a bleach mix for the highlights (for super whites). The last pic has nice technique about it BUT the pose isn't tension filled enough -as my BF said I don't feel like he's bound, there's no tension. You really have to shoot over and over until you get the emotion you want from the model, this feels like the second or third shot -so what else is on the contact sheet?
I would encourage you to shoot more, you have a great eye especially for B&W!

Thanks a bunch! I have never had anyone give me real criticism, they always just say "those are great" I am self taught and haven't picked up my camera in a few years. Unfortunately all my negs. were lost in a cross county move and all I have are the hard prints. I was considering taking it up again, but nowadays with photoshop and stuff it seems the art is being lost. Just out of curiosity, can I have a quick critique on this one, (I don't do all nudies

) it is my favorite.
