2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Bella's Knit Eclipse Hat on: May 14, 2011 09:50:16 PM
hey fellow craftsters,
i haven't knit in a while so i decided do get some done this weekend.
instead of knitting in the round because i hate it i knit it on straight needles.

(a side view)

a picture of that shows the real colors (yellow & white)

although the seam is quite obvious, i still love it

comments are appreciated.  Grin

3  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / strap help! on: July 21, 2010 10:35:57 AM
hey fellow craftsters Smiley
i need your help with making a strap for this knit bag im creating

im thinking of knitting it in the round, (size 6 circulars) the long way, so it can be one big circle, and ill connect it 2 the bag making it the sides & the bottom as well as the straps.

the question i have is how many stitches i should, i was going to do 209, but that only amounted to 22 inches for the Maple Bag ----> http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/maple-4

& since my bag is a messenger bag, i would like the strap to be about 53 inches all together.

any suggestions?
