1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: My First Tube Top on: July 11, 2011 10:07:30 AM
It really suits your shape, well done. But isn't knitting quite hot to wear? or is it something like cotton which is alot cooler?

Thank you for the compliment Smiley

& Its not hot at all really, the yarns I used are light weight, I'm not sure if they're cotton or not because this was a stash-busting project for me.

Since it's summer, I thought its about time for me to knit up my first tube top.

i quite like it really, it fits very nicely at the top with no elastic.
so what do you guys think? Cheesy

P.S. the pattern is from ravelry -------> http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/first-tube-top

hey fellow craftsters,
i haven't knit in a while so i decided do get some done this weekend.
instead of knitting in the round because i hate it i knit it on straight needles.

a picture of that shows the real colors (yellow & white)

although the seam is quite obvious, i still love it

comments are appreciated.  Grin
