Hi y'all! I just finished this shirt for my Basset Hound. (I was bored watching TV, never mind it's 1:30 am) It's really hard to find clothes in Sammy's size, but he just loves to get dressed up! (you really should see him strut his stuff!)
Anyways, I didn't wear this shirt anymore, so I decided to make it into one for him. It started off as just a long-sleeved baseball type shirt, the picture was on the front.
(Oh, and I am planning of shortening the sleeves a bit more.)
(He's a wonderful model, as you can see.)
Here's a close-up of the image on the shirt:
Hope you enjoy! It's really easy to make (providing you have a cooperative poochie), and very handy for larger breeds. I would assume it would work alright for smaller dogs too, so long as you used smaller shirts. The one I used was a Large, Sam is about 60 pounds and has a 24" chest. I only had to remove about 2 inches of fabric for him, but it has a loose comfy fit. (He doesn't really move around too much... like I said, Basset hound... )
Okee! I went ahead and made a tute! It's got lots of pictures, so I just posted it on my blog. You can find it here:
