1  Green Day in blue in Knitting: Completed Projects by samistrange on: September 07, 2008 05:08:55 AM
I came across the pattern for the Green Day Vest on Ravelry and it just screamed my best friend's name. But I had to make it in blue to match her hair. And her glasses. And fingernails. And the rest of her wardrobe.

Anyway, this was a surprise and she loves it! It was a fun knit, too.

2  So I had this denim jacket... in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by samistrange on: July 26, 2008 07:31:12 AM
It was the one I wore every day in high school (we're talking the '80's, folks). I decided to try my hand at painting on fabric, enjoy.

4  Not terribly special, but my first knitted item in Knitting: Completed Projects by samistrange on: March 07, 2008 03:26:22 AM
Just a basic tank, the stitches aren't completely perfect, and there's a little crochet around the top, but I'll be wearing this to death.  Grin

6  My new purse! in Crochet: Completed Projects by samistrange on: November 03, 2007 07:52:22 AM
Well, okay, it's not quite completed as I still have to line it. But it's my own completely original design, and I'm thinking of making more and putting them on etsy. Whatcha think?

7  My first venture in thread in Crochet: Completed Projects by samistrange on: October 13, 2007 06:23:55 AM
I want to try some filet, but I thought I'd better see if I could stand working with thread and a tiny hook first, so I bought a doily book. Turns out I love the stuff!

I haven't blocked it yet.

8  Autumn colors handbag in Crochet: Completed Projects by samistrange on: October 09, 2007 06:24:22 AM
I had purchased a bunch of fall-ish yarn for some project or other that I've completely forgotten about now, so I figured I'd make use of it. It's a really simple bag, just two sides slapped together with a couple of handles.

9  And another mohawk hat in Crochet: Completed Projects by samistrange on: September 23, 2007 06:11:49 AM
I made this for our piercing apprenctice, her favorite colors are blue and plaid  Grin.

She seems to be saying, "Whoa! That hat over there isn't nearly as cool as mine!"
