What a great use of a tire. I'd love to see it later in the season, once your plants have filled out.
552  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / School Bus Scarf on: July 06, 2007 11:13:41 AM
I just finished this school bus scarf based off of Her Blog ( http://her.blogware.com/blog/_archives/2007/3/20/2822173.html ) although I ended up making several changes.  I cut it down in length by about 12 inches and it is still plenty long for my 4 yo to grow into for years to come. Thanks for looking!

558  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Party Planning / Re: OMG... First blank EVER! 5th b-day party for my youngest son... Help?! on: July 04, 2007 07:16:39 AM
We had a race car theme for my son and we had all the kids bring their bikes. They drew a race track on the drive way and then spent the rest of their time here riding bikes around and around. It cost us nothing as we already had sidewalk chalk.

You could also let the kids frost their own cupcakes, always a hit. That way you have a craft that doubles as the cake so you aren't spending more money.

Hope your son has a fun day!
