1  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / decoupage streaks - need help on: July 05, 2007 05:49:58 PM
I'm decoupaging a cardboard picture frame with paint chips.  The problem I'm having, really on any decoupage I've done, is that the mod podge dries so that you can see the texture.

It's not smooth as glass, but streaky and shiny like glass.  I'm using a foam brush to put on the mod podge.

How do you decoupage without streaks?

Christine
2  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Acrylite plastic kit on: July 03, 2007 11:16:51 PM
My sister, an architect, got a cool sample box of acrylite pieces.  I really don't know what to do with them.  I've thought of making a pencil holder or two, hanging mobile out of the circles, but those ideas seem lame.  I have really no idea what to do with them.  Any ideas?
Christine
