2  pixies purse...purple plaid purse in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by opfiend on: February 27, 2008 09:56:58 PM
I made 2 bags today with this tutorial

The first one
kinda a trial and error but i like it still

the ribbon for the tie is pink with white polka dots...i love the green color on the outside...oh and the patch says death to the pixies...a patch a made inspired by a pixies album cover

second one...i actually spent some time on this one compared to just wanting to get the first one done.

i used the same green fabric for parts of this one...and it has a pocket inside that matches the outside

3  recon Nintendo shroom top in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by opfiend on: February 05, 2008 04:21:08 PM
Oi. So I had this "everybody loves mushrooms" shirt sitting around...I've had it for years but I decided that it needed to be redone.

First, of course, I cut up the shirt.

Then...I added fabric panels to the sides....one green on each side. and one black on one side. I thought these were "nintendo esque" colors

finally some white ribbon for the straps...I'm perfectly happy with it! Lemme know what you think!

action shots:

haha ignore my longjohns.

4  Aqua Teen tank top in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by opfiend on: January 26, 2008 07:40:08 PM
I made this top a few months ago but am just now getting around to posting it. I don't have a picture before but it was just a big white tshirt with the aqua teen thing on the front

I used permanent marker on the front logo to make it more colorful. used fabric paint on the back...and a bandana for the straps...lemme know what you think!

6  My first post...a polka dot skirt! in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by opfiend on: January 25, 2008 09:44:08 PM
I've been on Crafster a while but like everyone else haven't gotten around to posting...so here is a skirt that I made mostly today...

close up of the patch (Crack Rock Steady Seven)

The polka dot fabric is just cotton...I also used elastic, white ribbon, a patch....and that's all. no pattern.
