What do you think?
2  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / Embroidering on T-Shirts on: April 26, 2008 09:00:56 PM
Okay so I'm POSITIVE this must be in here somewhere, but I can't seem to find it.

I am trying to branch out to embroidering onto jersey fabric like t-shirts or baby onesies, and I can't seem to find instructions on how to properly use that stabilizing stuff.

I hear you can use all sorts of stuff as stabilizer, but I'm so confused!  One person even said flannel.  Would I just stick the flannel under the area and hoop them both?

Egads!!

Any help or suggestions would be super.

I cannot seem to find my SnB book anywhere right now and I need to find out how much yarn is needed to complete the Zeeby's bag.

Thanks in advance...

4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Cosmetic Bag corners on: March 02, 2008 11:07:10 AM
Hello all!!

I'm pretty new to sewing and have been teaching myself to sew by looking at tutorials on here.  But there's something I'd like to do that I can't seem to find on here in a tutorial.  Could you possibly help?

When I make zippered pouches, they are envelope style.  Completely flat, pretty boring.  I want to make them with the bottom corners like this:

To give it some depth, you know.  Any tips on how to do this?  I'd really appreciate it!!
5  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Craftster Itself / Help me Print! on: January 01, 2008 07:01:36 PM
Okay so I don't know if this is in the right area but here I go anyway.

I am trying to print off a particular thread with a tutorial on it and I can't seem to make it work!  I keep getting this weird popup saying I need to put in my password.  But it's not the craftster password, it's like I need special permission to print or something.  Anyone have a clue what this may be?  Or how I can just print off one lousy post?
6  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Right side? Wrong side? on: August 31, 2007 09:27:34 PM
Oh it's just too much!!

Okay so I'm really new to knitting and I'm doing the Big Bad Baby Blanket from the Stitch n Bitch book.  It says to finish on WS.  But I am so new that I can't recall which is which.  Help!  If you guys could give some tips on remembering which is Right side, which is Wrong side, I'd so appreciate it.

Thanks!!
7  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / New knitter in a pickle.... on: July 26, 2007 02:54:46 PM
Hello all...

I am new to this site, and also to knitting.  I am wondering if you guys had some suggestions for me...
I found the most deliciously gorgeous yarn on etsy and I *must* buy it.  However, it's only 110 yards.  Being new to this whole thing, I'm not sure what I can use it for, other than a scarf-- I live in Las Vegas, a scarf just would not be used.  Any suggestions?
Thanks!!
-Shelby
