11  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Discussion and Questions / mosaic on coffe table project on: October 22, 2007 08:36:29 AM
So my bf wants me to mosaic his coffee table. It's about 50" by 28".
I am trying to figure out how much tiles i am going to need. Any help is greatly appreciated.
for the design, i think i am just going to follow the rectangle shape down to the center with coordinating colors (probably greens)
Any other ideas?

Thanks a bunch

So here is my 1st "real" FO.
He was a present for my boyfriend's nephew. My sewing skills aren't good and i think the monkey might be losing its ears pretty soon (little 20 months old can be kind of rough).
The pattern is from a book called knitted toys but i can't remenber the designer) ant the yarn is cascade 220.

18  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / twinkle's city big knits: tuxedo jacket on: July 17, 2007 09:12:51 AM
Hi,

I am thinking about knitting the tuxedo jacket from the twinkle's city book. Has anybody tried it? I am probably going to substitute the yarn, any ideas on that?

Also i am looking for an easy sock pattern, i have to fly in a couple of weeks and thought this would be an easy project to take along.

Thanks for your help.
