I just wrote out a really long, wordy post and it was deleted during a craftster mainenance (?) time....*sniff*
I'M NEW and I actually found this fantastic site a few wks ago - as well as cheytown's great tute for the repurposed shirt dress - FANTASTIC! I am a beginner sewer and it was still pretty easy! I had to take the dress in a do a few other things (after the pics were taken) but it turned out really cute. My husband was thrilled too as these were made from an old shirt he wore ALL the time - but since has lost over 115 lbs. He thought it was so neat that it would still be used.
I ended up making a matching headband, matching shorts for the boys, as well as appliqueing matching "ties" to onesies for them! They looked so sweet and wore the outfits on father's day. Sorry it's so hard to see the actual outfits in the pic of all 3 of them...at least you can see that they match!!
THANKS for the tute cheytown - it is fantastic and I will be making lots more sets from my hubby's old "fat shirts"!!!
