2  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / Re: Tea storage? on: September 01, 2009 11:52:56 PM
probably not the best person to comment on this but..... i hide mine..... in books and in random places that way when i open a cabinet or something i get a random shower of tea bags... it makes my day... but if you want to organize them...
i dunno if they still sell them anywhere but they are really narrow tall chest of drawers that are just wide enough to put two rows of tea bags in.. my grandmother has one that i claim when she dies.. and i told her that.. she laughed and said i would be waiting a LONG time.. but it is awesome..
i've seen them in bathrooms before too.. but i dunno what they are called i know that some of the thrift stores where i live have them...  the last on i saw was about 6 feet tall so it would hold like a couple thousand tea bags atleast..
3  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Tale of the dresser makeover and a request for help! on: September 01, 2009 11:37:27 PM
Donate it!
lots of places take old furniture or furniture you don't need anymore.. and then your giving someone in need a REALLY COOL dresser that doesn't need a ton of work...

I love the rock and roll ones.. my Boyfriend's sister would love them... i may just have to make a few to give to them when i go visit.. but great job..
If you got the cheap pens at the dollar store and and platter painted them in colors that matched i would pay about $1 to $1.25 for them if they had the splatter pens.. but just an idea

9  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Re: Show off your dorm room! on: February 07, 2009 05:09:09 PM
first off.. I am so happy that i am not the only mac user. At my school there are like NONE of us... so seeing all those macs made me happy.
horsesis- where do you go to school it looks alot like one of the dorm here... up now onto my pictures... they are kinda crappy... they are only my half of the room, but my room mates is VERY messy... i would take more but i am in the process of moving rooms, just across the hall but still it is a pain in the butt...
So now on to my room..

that is the closet.. i have one of those hanging thingies... i put EVERYTHING it in..

Ok this is the bed, i dunno if you can see it in this pic but there are drawers underneath the bed...

the desk

and my door, it has identity issues
