1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Ski gear on: January 27, 2008 06:44:26 PM
Hi everyone,
I received my first sewing machine for Christmas this year, and I was trying to think of simple/useful projects for me to start off with.  Do any of you skiers out there have a pattern for fleece neck warmers?  The seem like they might be something I can handle and something I can give to my ski-bunny friends!  Thanks for your help!
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / pom poms on: October 29, 2007 07:20:09 PM
I am busy knitting scarves for my family for Christmas, and I am adorning the ends with pom poms.  Is there anything I can do to keep the pom pom ends from shedding?  Has anyone tried spraying them with a bit of starch?
3  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Scarf and ___... on: October 27, 2007 08:48:19 PM
This year for the holidays, I have decided to knit a scarf for each member of my immediate and extended family.  For the ladies, I plan on giving them broaches in coordinating colors of their respective scarves.  For the men, I am at a loss for a little something to go along with their scarves that is still winter/holiday related.  I would like to make matching hats, but I have a feeling that once I am done with the scarves I will be out of time!  Any other ideas? Shocked)
