1  Am I crazy or is this normal? in Clothing: Discussion and Questions by punk rock puppy on: April 17, 2009 08:22:44 PM
I don't know if this happens to anyone but me or not. i want to make a dress out of a tshirt and a bandanna, sounds easy right? not. the tshirt is a really fresh one i bought online (that isn't sold any more) and I'm scared to cut it in fear that ill screw up and ruin what I'm doing. i bought the shirt when i was heavier its a  big 2x and i now wear a XL/L. i love the shirt so i want to make it a dress to wear this summer. i love this shirt and i don't want to screw it up. here's a pic of what i plan on doing made in paint...

i may do an x in the back. idk. id have to cut the shirt first. omg.
thanks for looking at my madness. hope this is in the right place/ makes sense. ~Ozzy

4  Mushroom and Flower Incence Holders in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by punk rock puppy on: August 02, 2008 04:02:28 PM
My Brother and I got bored last night and decided to mess with some sculpey clay. This is what we came up with...
Mine, the mushroom in my fave colors (orange & purple) it holds 8 incense rods/sticks and one cone (unbaked)

Mine baked

Action shot of mine, not burning & with out the cone

Action shot #2 of mine (That's a penny in the cone space)

My Brother's the flower in white and blue, it holds one rod/stick

Action shot of his, not burning

And the two together right after cooking

Thanks for looking,
Ozzy

5  Help with plushie pattern (Sewing) in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions by punk rock puppy on: July 30, 2008 10:44:49 PM
I want to make a very large plushie, sewn completely by hand (I hate and suck at hand sewing). My machine will be in storage until September and I can't wait that long I have plushie fever! I decided to draw up a pattern for a very large plushie with a 16 inch zipper in the back so I can stuff smaller plushies inside it! I must be crazy so I drew my pattern on some taped together newspaper and realized I can't get the ears where I want them, I want them straight, close at the bottom and out to the sides. So I made a picture in Paint of basically what I drew up with some rough measurements (due to my indecisiveness about the ears placement is temporary and I don't have measurements).  The more I work on this project the more I feel in over my head, Ive already bought the fabric and zipper so my question is, Is this practical or am I in over my head? (Please keep in mind I have more little plushies to make that I haven't bought fabric for yet). Well here is my bunny sort of thing (The red thing is the zipper, and the orange is approximate eye sizes and placements.)...

I'm not sure how well I explained myself but now after sharing my confusion/frustrations about what to do next (Ive been putting off cutting the fabric for over a week) hopefully things will become clearer.
Thanks for reading all my stuff and checking out my pattern,
Ozzy

OK I tried to make my Grandma's Apple Cake but it didn't work out like I had planned (the batter is mixer only, unless you want to mix by hand for over an hour  Roll Eyes that was not fun). Anyways here it is, sorry I cant share the recipe, its a secret (*giggles*)
Thanks for looking, Ozzy

I think it's pretty in an ugly sort of way
