Fiorst of all, the painting for your husband is gorgeous! It's style reminds me of modern graphic design.

The Tokyo painting looks great so far too. I'm not quite sure what i think of the colourful splashes you want to include because I wonder if it will make the picture too colourful and messy. So that it would be hard to make out the main subject. But then again, that could make it even more interesting to look at, especially if you used many little/thin splashes. And I love the splashes you used in the painting of you and your husband. I'm definetly looking forward to your finished piece. Cheesy
