1  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Discussion and Questions / Re: recommend a shirt dress pattern on: August 09, 2008 06:53:59 AM
In the latest Vogue Pattern magazine, there is a really cut shirt dress. The number is V8352. I haven't made it, but I am going to. There is a thread on Craftster where a member made a really cut shirtdress. If you do a search, you could probably find it.

I'm making this pattern today! I'll let you know how it turns out (hopefully sooner, rather than later).

Wow---that looks amazing on you...what kind of fabric did you use and is it lined?

P.S.  I think the loop sewn down at the bust looks great.

P.P.S.  Your tatoo is tres cool!

I have no clue what kind of fabric it is - I just picked up the cheapest thing available cause this was a test run to see if the pattern didn't suck. It's not lined.

And thanks for the P.S. and the P.P.S.  Wink

did you use a pattern? i absolutely LOVE the way that skirt falls, and now i really really want to make one for myself!

I just used the pattern for the skirt of the dress I made, and then added a really sketch band for the top  Embarrassed It doesn't exactly lie flat at the front.

Can I just say that is the PERFECT skirt?
Looks great! And I love your shoes!!! (in both threads lol)

I have to admit - I buy so many shoes that I have nothing to go with (just cause they're so fab)....I made this dress specifically for the shoes  Embarrassed
