1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / paints for leather or vinyl on: September 20, 2012 05:39:33 PM
I'm converting my shoulder bag into a crossbody so I need to replace the purse strap. Can anyone recommend a paint for vinyl  or leather. I may purchase vinyl-ish material from the fabric store or , if I can find the proper length, even hack a strap from another bag. If I can't get the strap color to match the bag then perhaps I could just paint the bag and strap another color.
Thanks!!
2  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Where do i find nylon cord appropriate for crochet? on: June 05, 2009 02:49:00 PM
I know about the usual coats"n"clark nylon you can get at walmart but the colors are horrible.
Are there other brands that make nylon cord in beautiful colors?
Please help me in my search =(

ps. its to make a purse much like the kind from the SAKS line.
3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / i need cloth diaper advice on: March 01, 2007 01:53:09 AM
Im having  baby #2 in the next couple of months and want to use cloth diapers this time around.
I think I like the method of using the cloth diaper with the knit wool soakers, but Im wondering what advantages or disadvantages there would be to using the all-in-ones with the fleece.  Im a super newbie to the subject and would like to hear from any of you experienced CDers.
4  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / copycat lelah on: August 28, 2005 01:54:01 AM
I saw helenajane's lelah tube top and decided right then and there that i had to learn how to knit.  In the meantime I completed a copycat version of the skirt and tube top.  It's granite (seed?) stitch with shells.  I love shells.

5  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / beaded crochet handbags on: August 02, 2005 11:32:55 PM
Ive seen some quick instructions on how to crochet with beads but I still feel uncertain.  Does anyone know where I can find some good instructions and patterns.  Ive been really interested in the vintage style purses (1800's and earlier).
