It's HERE!!! I loooooooooooove it!!!
LadybugsandBumblebees outdid herself and all her angst was for naught. My package had me bouncing around like a little kid who just got to meet Mickey Mouse.
First, we have the goodies wrapped - in gorgeous paper.
Because I like to save the big prezzies as the grand finale, I started with the smaller ones. First up was a Mickey Mouse ice tray!!!! I loooooove Mickey Mouse and Disney (have since I was a wee sprout) and so this put a huge smile on my face. Can't wait to plop these into a cold beverage!
Next little package was a pair of gorgeous fingerless gloves. I live in Colorado and it tends to get a bit chilly here at times. My office, especially. This year I finally discovered the genius of fingerless gloves, and L&B crocheted this gorgeous pair for me!!! SO excited! My hands thank her. (please note, I am NOT a professional hand model so my pic does not do these the justice they deserve.
So now we move to the grand finale.. May I present to you: the blarf!
It's a funny name for a pattern I had on my Pinterest boards that's a bit like a blanket went on a hot date with a scarf and well... they had a blarf.
Again, I get chilly and I love shawls and things to keep me warm. This pattern was fun and colorful and LadybugsandBumblebees tuned into it. I want to say this is
The colors are beautiful!
Then I notice she has put a little tag on it (yay!!) that will remind me of this swap and her amazing gift to my.
Then there was this little bag included with MORE GOODIES!!!
It had a shawl pin for securing my blarf around my shoulders (brilliant spoiling, there!!) and some stitch markers, and a wonderful little garment tag that makes smile from its sentiment.
I absolutely love my package. My new blarf is wrapped around my shoulders as I type this and I send my sincerest "thank you" to LadybugsandBumblebees for such an amazing swap package. <3 (gratuitous action shot - it's Sunday morning with no makeup...don't judge me. hehe)
