1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Flower Hair Clip on: February 22, 2011 06:04:32 AM
(I really hope this is the right section for this...)

This is a simple flower pin that I started making (multiples of) out of my boredom yesterday.  The flower is made of fleece with a button and there is a barrette glued to the back.  It looks really nice on me, my three year old niece, and my half year old nephew!

2  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / AHHHH!!! THERE ARE PINS IN MY HEAD! on: February 22, 2011 05:59:40 AM
I went to the thrift store yesterday and saw this set of 18 tealight holders (three diffrent sizes) for $3 that was calling for me.  My sister took three of them, but I was determined to find something to do.

Thus, my Pin Head was born!

I spent about 30 minutes transferring all my pins from a jar to his head, but I'm happy with the result!
3  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / A Quiet Little Snowman... found his wife and child! on: February 22, 2011 05:54:09 AM
Yesterday, I was on a huge sewing rush and this is one of the things I made (and time ended up flying till 1 am while making this... oops!).  Because of all the small details and types of stitching, I had to hand sew him, and I only pricked myself about fifty times! So here he is:

And now, after another whole day of being distracted by sewing, I bring you his wife and child!

4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: My Owl Purse for Blustery Spring on: February 18, 2011 04:41:11 PM
I love it!  This is so adorable Smiley
5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Re: How to straighten out a heavy brooch? on: February 17, 2011 06:23:53 PM
Thank you for the help! Smiley  I think I'm going to be able to get this to work out, and hopefully I will be posting pictures soon!
6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / How to straighten out a heavy brooch? on: February 15, 2011 06:30:51 PM
I'm gonna make this short and to-the-point.

I'm making brooches for a few purses that i've made recently with three fabric roses on a circular base.  The problem is, its so heavy that it always falls forward enough to show the back/pin.

What sort of pins/backings/techniques can I use to minimalize this problem?
7  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Scrapbooking: Completed Projects / Re: One Year Scrapbook for My Boyfriend (Too... many.. pictures...) on: September 21, 2010 05:08:45 PM
Don't worry, even if it doesn't look good at first, it will look amazing by the end. Some of my first layouts I edited multiple times. Good luck!

Thank you!
9  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / My First Two Cards :) on: August 24, 2010 09:20:17 PM
These are the first two cards I made (but not my first experience with paper crafting).  One was for my friend's graduation and one was for my One Year of Dating anniversary. I must say, it's easy to have too many ideas or too few ideas... but it takes way too much thinking to fill a card in a way I like it!

This is the graduation card... which I don't think was shown as much love as I gave it... eh, oh well.

This is the One Year card... yeah, so the pictures aren't the most romantic looking, but they didn't fit in the scrapbook and I couldn't let them go to waste!... plus I ran out of photo paper.

Thank you for looking!
10  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Scrapbooking: Completed Projects / One Year Scrapbook for My Boyfriend (Too... many.. pictures...) on: August 24, 2010 09:10:13 PM
So Friday is our One Year of dating anniversary, and I've been putting this scrapbook together since about month four. We're celebrating today, so I get to give it to him sooner than I expected (and thank goodness, 'cause I'm getting too excited to wait and not ruin the surprise!).  I picked some of my favorite pages to post, cause it would be crazy posting the entire thing  Tongue

This is what's on the cover, the two most important things to me that he bought me.

This is the title page, with the idea completely stolen from JanelleJ's scrapbook - http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=326866.0

These are my introductory pages, including a "note from the scrapbooker" and the lyrics to our song all fancied up.

This is from our school's formal dance

Valentine's Day <3

His birthday and my Honor Society induction were on the same day

This page will be given to him as is, then when we're through with the day, I'll put in the pictures we take Smiley

And finally, this page concludes the entire scrapbook, summarizing it into one 8"x8" page

Well now that you're probably burned out from looking at scrapbook pages, I'll end with one more sentence... Thanks for looking!
