I found this beauty down a street and promptly dragged it in to be my new bedside table in my student accommodation. I could put up with the ugly for a while (and it's poor fractured leg, which I've let as is because, well, it's character, right? ) but now that it's back in my non-uni home I decided to spruce it up with some paint and some gift wrap that I'd bought earlier on.
So basically cost me £1.50 for the gift wrap and a couple of quid for the acrylic paint (I love acrylic paint, screw painting with proper paint!) ohh and there's a wee bit of glitter on there but the camera didn't pick that up.

This was my first decoupage task, screwed it up a bit what with the creases but meh, learning curve. (Close up of the gorgeous gift wrap, was so happy to find it, wish I knew who made it, though )



OH. And here's my dog, chillin out relaxin maxin while I painted away!

I like the omnia one because of the little bits of purple and white on the text

the Cat Face one didn't come out as well as I'd like.. well the actual cat. I should probably do another coat of paint really..
