21  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Some recently finished projects [Slightly Image Heavy] on: December 14, 2007 04:04:50 PM
So working full time, moving, deployments and homecomings, and a new puppy (to go along with our current zoo) have left little time to craft, but it's just about the only thing that keeps me sane, and so I had to squeeze it in somewhere.  Here are some recently finished projects:

The "Daughter" hat from Mr. Funky's Super Crochet Wonderful done with an H hook in some stash yarn that has long since lost it's wrapper.  It's nice and bulky and soft though!

The scarf is just double crochet, and the hat is from this pattern:  http://firebrunette.blogharbor.com/blog/FREEPATTERNS/_archives/2007/9/26/3255273.html
Which I highly recommend if you like tight fitting crochet beanies like myself.

And yes, I did just randomly put them on my Hubbles while he was playing the Wii, snapped a picture, and ran off giggling .. poor boy Tongue

Oh gosh I LOVE this, I will have to hop over to crochetville and see if I can scope out the pattern.  Too cute, thanks for sharing!
24  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Screen Printing: Completed Projects / Re: First project - pit bull shirt (img heavy due to excitement) on: November 28, 2007 06:47:54 AM
Oh I love it!  We have a blue pitt mix, Connor, and I am constantly trying to take a good picture of him to make into a stencil .. so far, no luck, or maybe my stencil making abilities just lack Tongue

25  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: Army Blanket HOOAH! on: November 25, 2007 08:34:59 AM
Hooah and a great job from a fellow Army Wife!  I made a similar blanket and pillow once when DH was in AIT, but C-Dog claimed it Tongue

And I got both fabrics at Walmart as well!

26  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Link and Zelda amigurumi! on: November 20, 2007 07:45:33 PM
Oh my gosh, you literally just killed my husband .. he even stopped playing Halo to freak out over this .. and THAT is a huge accomplishment Tongue  Any chance of a tut?
27  CROCHET / Crochetalongs / Re: Granny Square Slippers on: November 20, 2007 07:43:08 PM
Nevermind, I got it.  I finished them tonight and while they were fun and easy to do, they came out WAY too big .. I wear a size 5-6 and these fit my husband who wears a size 12!  I used the right hook and all .. I guess I just crochet very loose.  Oh well, back to the drawing board for a cute slipper Sad
