I got my pkg today and YAY!!  Here's my pkg from pinokeeo!

A leather pouch that I can hang around my neck...

A set of notecards and envelopes with pinokeeo's nature photography

A bookmark made from birch bark!  I was needing a new bookmark!

Painted ABC blocks for Lorelei!  Awesomeness! (A letter is painted onto every side)

A rolly toy for L, which I LOVE!  I love that these are wooden toys!  Lovely!

And my favorite...

Roses made from cedar cones!  I absolutely LOVE these!  They'll go perfectly in my living room!

Thanks so much!  I loved it all!

Well Varandra is going to be getting four different parcels now. This could all end in disaster  Wink

You know, my pkg that I sent cost me like 15 bucks.  How...I'm not entirely sure.  I totally forgot about the flat rate boxes but the wall hanging wouldn't have fit in that anyhow!  And, you used stone??  Eek.  I didn't think mine was going to be very heavy. Wrong-O.

How many people have sent off now?  It's almost May 30th!  Eek!  Oh, by the way...I'm back from my trip!  Woot!

I'd wear them...with a solid darker color shirt (like a matching olive green)...and fitted.  Smiley  cute!  Great job!

Thanks Smiley

Thanks.  I'm glad you liked it Smiley  I had a hard time figuring out what was what (sizes) as I'm generally fast-paced...but I also have a one year old.  So, some things went a lot faster and some things drew WAY out.  So, I'm happy you liked everything Smiley

AND, you should look behind the picture of the barn.  I sent you an extra picture...you know, in case you wanted to switch things up!

Oh...and the origami creatures...they're turtles!
9  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Craftalongs / Re: The Long Awaited Poppet-Along on: May 10, 2008 05:40:17 PM
I want in!  I want to make my very own poppet!  I'm excited!

But...what are these?:

2 Size 30 Dritz half ball cover buttons (The kind with teeth!)
2 Size 45 Dritz half ball cover buttons (Teeth!)
A doll jointing needle (These are about 8” long)
A doll sculpting needle (About 4” long)

And, I have some left over jersey type material...can I use that for the poppet's skin?  Would it work?

I live in a TINY town and we barely have a walmart with a small selection of fabrics...so, if there are things I could use instead of the things listed above...please do tell!  And, what are dritz half ball cover buttons anyhow?

Thanks!!
