Yeah when I was trying to say it out loud to figure out the spelling I was just getting nefer-titty. At that point I knew I should just give up  Grin

This is so awesome that you are continuing the tradition for your niece! I have my favorite teddy bear from before kindergarten. Radar has all the attempts at my hand-sewing ''fix'' jobs. I have a couple others saved and packed away but my teddy's from my dad and oh am I a daddy's girl! Love I'm not the only one!

This is awesome thank you!!! I have been trying to figure out a good method to re-create some art & crafts style accessories for my dad. This will be perfect for father's day! And I get to play with a wood burner! I love tools and fire. Thanks for the idea!

Thanks you guys! I was afraid they looked a whole lot worse than I thought since no one seemed to be commenting on anything. I knew that was the Queen's name I can just never pronounce it. Actually it's one of the few words I'm quite horrid with. Grrr. Thanks for spelling it too! Couldn't get that far either....

So this is the first bag I ever made and am now just getting the pics up. A little late I know. Made it for my little sister's birthday in August. The handles were a little wonky on the couch but they aren't really.

Then I made her this one for Christmas. I used some muslin and perfect purple fabric from my stash...

I used an image from stencilry. Anything Egypt is up her alley. Here's a pic of the handle and how I attached them. I used taping and covered it with a strip of the purple fabric. I love the look and durability of it. Quite proud that I thought of doing that.

Put in a zipper pocket for the inside so she can stay kinda neat. She's young enough that she doesn't carry too much stuff around.
I'm really happy with how it came out. I only started sewing again recently and these were some of the first projects. She loved it so I guess that's the most important thing. Hope you guys like! Any ideas on what could be done better for next time?
