I like a play for my individual hooks... room for my yarn.... and also for a pattern book..... and also something small so I can put in like the needles for sewing the pieces of crochet together and also for scissors.... I think that's about it..... oh and make sure to add like some kind of clasp for it to shut..... that's what I would like.... hope this helps
Thanks so much!! I will surely post the pics when i'm done!!

I am making a bag for a swap and she crochets, but i knit...and i'm not sure what kind of things are important to a crocheter? i'm sure it's most likely the same things as a knitter, but i just wondering if anyone had specifics on what they would like in a bag???
I apperciate any help or comments  Grin

the only ones that i can think of that would require making a hold hole through the fabric would be grommets...but they aren't buttons really.....so i guess doesn't answer your question...lol....

What a great idea to hide a secret pocket under the pleats! I might have to try that one. Also, I LOVE that blue fabric!
It's really easy to do it, just don't be like me and make the cover flap too long and too short..lol...some of the needles on the bottom row dont' always want to play nicely Smiley

I have been trying to come up with the perfect knitting bag. You have inspired me to pleatness! I shall make one as a post-holiday present to myself.

And that fabric is to die for. Truly.
Thanks, the blue fabric is from Jo-Ann's. and i think it was call big blue jacks or something. It's easier just to buy it off the website then in-store...Smiley

lol...i was thinking of this this morning and thought, man that would be so cute if you made a snow man out of the hostess snowballs (laid flat of course), took frosting and did the nose and buttons and stuff and then laid the hats all around him, like in the picture!! Smiley
