Yeah, I think that totally will work. I think what I was trying to get at was that I thought the bigger floral print should be used in larger pieces because otherwise it might look odd. It looks like it will make a stunning quilt.
I think that the colours that you picked are lovely. However, the large floral print may or may not fit in, depending on how you use it. Most of the prints that you've chosen are small, while the white with red floral is larger in comparison. Are you using it as a backing fabric? I'm trying to picture how they'd all work together once cut into tiny pieces.
Me too! In fact, I have a whole box of matching fabric just waiting for the day where I'll have enough time, and start piecing it together! That's really lovely. Keep up the quilting action for all us procrastinators.
Ok, I have been very remiss in posting here, life was a little crazy for a while. Acesulfamek - I'm glad that you liked the 'mostly winnipeg' mix. By the time I got to Montreal there wasn't much space left on the c.d.!
I received a c.d. from someone in Seattle... but I'm not sure who because it doesn't say on the c.d. and the envelope it came in is now long gone. However, I really like it, and listen to it all the time. I can't take any pics of it, but it had a really pretty cover with an umbrella on it. Apparently it rains alot in Seattle. (I hate rain. Give me dry and windy any day) Anyways, I'm meandering. The song list:
Seattle - Bill Cosby J Minus- Caught The Shins- we will become silhouettes dandy warhols - bohemian like you wonderful - pagoda ugly casanova - hotcha girls jimi hendrix - all along the watch tower nirvana - lounge act sunny day real estate - the ocean carissa's weird - ? aqueduct - growing up with GNR dalour- cleopatra eyes the postal service - ? smooth - make it through united state of electronica - emerald city united state of electronica - Vamos a la playa
Ok... about halfway through the list I decided that I was too lazy to use capitols (at all) but I imagine that it's still legible.
lauriemk- I'm glad that you liked it. Um... the reason you probably have never heard of any of the artists is that about 75% of them are from Canada. And I'd say that a rediculous percentage are indy bands. CanCon, represent.
