1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / You Can Call Me Nannerpuss, Nannerpuss on: May 09, 2009 06:04:20 PM
And guess what? I like pancakes!
So I loved Nannerpuss from the Denny's commercials and decided to knit my own after seeing a croched version. Silly, I know.
I finished him a while ago and am just getting around to posting him.

He's loosely based on this pattern. http://kimberlychapman.com/crafts/knit-patterns-banana.html He's knit with acrylic scraps and has a wee felt moustashe. His pancakes are craft felt, too.

Hope you like!

2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Kaari from Norah Gaughan Vol. 1 on: September 12, 2008 04:18:42 PM
I finished Kaari from Norah Gaughan Vol. 1 about a week ago and I love it! I knit it as a seamless top-down raglan because black yarn is so hard to seam. I used about 7 1/2 balls of Valley Yarns Colrain and size 8 needles.
BTW- This yarns attracts pet hair like a magnet so, pet owners, be sure to keep a lint roller in tow!

3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / The February Lady Sweater Craze on: July 27, 2008 08:10:36 AM
I, being the knitting bandwagoner I am, joined the FLS craze over on Ravelry... and I'm glad I did. This sweater is awesome! It's inspired me to try more of EZ's patterns.

4  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / It's raining cats and dogs! Knitty's Gattino and Fiber Trends Felted Fido on: December 26, 2007 09:09:57 AM
These were so fun to make. Great to do in-between bigger projects. The puppy is made from Paton's Merino and Cha Cha. The kitty (sans legs because they looked so weird) is made from Plymouth Heaven.

5  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / My Modified Simply Marilyn on: November 01, 2007 04:08:48 PM

My Simply Marilyn from Interweave Knits! I used size 8 needles because I wanted it to be fitted. The yarn is Knitpicks Wool of the Andes Bulky. The color is not nearly as obnoxious as it looks; it's more of a rose color in real life.
6  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / This Sweater is my Best Friend on: September 21, 2007 01:01:56 PM
Pattern: Best Friend Cardigan from Twinkle's Big City Knits
Yarn: Brown Sheep Burly Spun, 2 skeins
Mods: No bobbles

I knit this us in about 3 days. I love chunky yarn and big needles! Burly Spun is a great sub for Soft Chunky. I got it on sale for $10 a skein at my lys.
I made the Twinkle Hoodie from the book and had lots of problems with the pattern but this one was a breeze. The buttons are wooden toy car tires stained and sanded.

Just in time for summer.. the bold n bulky cardi from Fitted Knits. This is my first FO on Crafster! I used Homespun instead of Thick & Quick. It's the 1st thing I've knitted that I actually want to wear in public!

Apologies for the crappy pics
