On a side note I have a question for all you creative gals with regards to snack foods. Or moreso healthy-use-what-you-have snacks. I almost always get a bit hungry in the middle of the day but don't EVER know what to snack on. I'll either end up defaulting to junk (which I hate) or not eating anything at all (which makes me a million times more hungry when dinner rolls around) I just didn't know if you guys had any good suggestions. I already do the veggie sticks but just looking for something else.

I didn't have a chance to read all the responses to this yet - but here's what I keep on hand at work for when I become starving (hourly, it seems

)
apple slices with a bit of peanut butter
string cheese
trail mix (usually almonds and cranberries)
plain greek yogurt with some honey (just learned to make my own, without a yogurt maker! yay!)
homemade lowfat granola (way cheap if you don't put a bunch of nuts and stuff in it)
ok, off to finish reading the 9 pages i posts i missed since I didn't log on for 12 hours!! lol!
