I really like this idea!  I have some fabric that would work perfectly for something like this.  Very nice alternative to hand-knits in the summer.

I love it too!  The yarn works perfectly with the pattern.  I had tried and burned out on the knit version of Clapotis a while back, but didn't know there was a pattern for something similar in crochet.  I may give this a try myself!

I think the pattern comes from a book called "Knitting Lingerie Style" by Joan McGowan-Michael.  Hope that helps!
