Three ATC's for another swap- Middle Eastern Theme!

The Egypt one is papyrus with a hand-painted scarab beetle in a mix of acrylic and glitter glue!

The Hebrew one is collaged printed papers (from PC) and the Star of David is gel pen.

The Arabic one is collaged printed papers (PC again) and the dove actually says Peace and Love in Arabic! Gel pen again Smiley

Hope you like them- any comments/ crits welcome Smiley

Wow! What a lot of cards! And there's me thinking making 9 over two nights was good going!!!!

I like the hellboy ones best I think, just something about that square jaw Smiley

24  CITY GUIDES FOR CRAFTSTERS / EUROPE / Re: Cyprus on: July 06, 2007 10:12:34 AM
ooh I forgot, there is a Bead shop in Chloraka! In the main part of Chloraka, along from the church heading towards Papantoniou supermarket.

My favourite card shop has just changed hands- Galerie of Cards on Danais Avenue will soon be doing scrap-booking bits from the US and OZ!!!! They already sell card-making bits so this is a great addition.

Yet to rate... Infinity Stitchcraft near to Orphanides supermarket off Tombs of the Kings Road.

Saschat, thanks for the heads up about Nicosia! I wish I'd known you a couple of weeks ago when I was there with my parents!!!!

This ATC is for a swap I'm doing on swap-bot (and I hope the member its going to isn't on here so it doesn't spoil the surprise!)

The swap is for An Adventure in a Flying Saucer. You are allowed to write to your friend and tell them of the things you have seen- and you have to include something like a picture of something you have seen or an ATC or a paper doll (flat traveller).

Please be gentle, its my second ever ATC. Cardboard backing, painted with acrylics and wording added with silver gel pen.

OOooh, let us know how it goes. I'm trying to get an ATC group together on our little island and having lessons is something that we might end up doing Smiley all the best!

aww thanks. I don't really like the black marker tho... I think I'm going to get some gold or blue paint and fix that. I think it looks too harsh.

(black marker? all I can see is blue- or have you already altered it- is that how your scanner showed it?)

30  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Re: organizing paper. Help! on: June 28, 2007 11:28:18 PM
Thanks boatbird, I'm thinking that a zig zag organizer is kind of like an accordian organizer?  Sorry, I've just never heard that term, but that is a good idea.  I saw another post about baseball card organizer for smaller things, I may try that as well.

anyone else?

Accordian organiser is what I meant to say! ooops! ty!
