1  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Craftster Itself / Re: Decreased Activity on Craftster? on: November 12, 2016 04:18:04 PM
I haven't been posting much in the past few years, but when I do I am usually disappointed to find that no one has commented on my posts. It's quite demotivating. Maybe not when it comes to crafting, but definitely when it comes to sharing.  Cry
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Checkerboard rug on: November 02, 2016 07:36:29 PM
I knitted my first rug! I didn't use a pattern, but here's how I did it. I used size US 9 needles with 2 strands of worsted and 1 strand of something finer to knit the squares in garter stitch. Each one is 20 stitches by 19 rows. I sewed them together, then I knitted the border onto the edge by casting on 7 and then picking up stitches at the end of every other row.
3  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Knitted Knockers Knitalong for Breast Cancer survivors! on: October 28, 2016 01:25:57 PM
I am drawn to this project but I'm also strapped for cash. I have some brown Lily Sugar & Cream cotton yarn. Would that be too rough for this project? Thanks.
4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Damask Wars Barrel Purse - Swoon Blanche on: October 28, 2016 11:10:02 AM
Just commented on your other bag, but this one is really cute, too!
5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Doctor Who TARDIS Ukulele Bag on: October 28, 2016 11:09:08 AM
I love the double meaning of "it's bigger on the inside" because the bag doesn't just hold an object, it holds music!

Well done centering your fabric to get the best pattern placement. Looks professional.

They're all beautiful, but my favorite is the black and white ombre.
