Brief Bio, News in Your Life, etc:
live in one of Chicago's most diverse neighborhoods, Rogers Park, where I am a short walk away from Lake Michigan's beachfront. On walks with my dog, Archie, I often dream up ideas for my knitted, crocheted, and embroidered creations and work through design challenges. The trick is to remember my inspirations and resolutions until I get home.

I believe that it's important (and fun!) to celebrate holidays and special occasions with quality, long-lasting, easy-to-store decorations. I truly enjoy making these items for my shop and I fall a bit in love with each of my creations.

I'm a born and bred multi-tasker, so my typical workspace is a picture of controlled chaos. The project of the day is on needles, hooks or fabric, my computer and phone are ready for email and Facebook breaks, the television is on catching up on shows or with Food Network in the background, and a book is open to read during commercials. Of course, my favorite drink of seltzer water with fresh lime and Archie lounging on his pillow are also ever-present.

My Favorite Crafts To Do: All sorts of embroidery, cross-stitch, punch needle, knitting, cooking, holiday ornaments, painting, crocheting, polymer clay beginner, picking up sewing again
Crafts I Want To Learn: beaded flowers
