Got this piece of shrinky dink ... had it for 23 years now. It's moved to five states and one European country ... and I just know, someday ... SOMEDAY ... I WILL use it!

Mom of four, but they are big kids now ... (27, 21, 17, 15). And I have two gorgeous grandchildren - Eden and Kieran (and one on the way!) I'm an RN by profession (finally have a job that I LOVE!) ... but I still dream of studying religion at ASU ... someday. (I am Wiccan in beliefs, but I love Buddhism and the ideas in Hinduism - although I still have much to learn about both!)
I remember asking for and getting my first sewing box in 4th grade (many moons ago!) and learning to crochet around the same time ... I did all those 80's/90's country crafts (you know, glueing flowers and raffia on everything!) but Craftster has opened up so many new horizons for me! I consider myself a good crafter, but I'm no artist and I admire those who have that "artsy" eye for colors and mixing media and of course, any kind of drawing, which I can't do to save my soul!
I have a wonderful boyfriend (you all can stop looking for the perfect man, because I got him!) ... and a silly, smelly dog ... and a cat that I think reads my mind and really wants to crochet and sew like me.
On most days, I think life is a grand and wonderous thing and there is so much to learn and do that I am NEVER bored! (I won't tell you what I think on bad days ... or when I am at work!)
My Favorite Crafts To Do:
sewing, crochet, simple wood/paint projects, hand sewing felt together, simple jewelry, freezer paper stenciling
What I Could Make For You: Whatcha want?! Crochet, sewing, random acts of craftiness ... working with paper and wood and simple painting. If you see something I've made already, I may be persuaded to try it again! Oh, and I love freezer paper ...
What I'd Like to Receive: Anything really - I love handmade goodies and most of the crafts I can do I won't ever get around to doing for myself ... anyone who can draw and paint is my hero!
Likes And Dislikes For Potential Swap Partners Or Just For Fun:
Things I Love: Almost everything! Especially if it's handmade ... I love browns and deep, dark greens (and chartreuse is awesome right now), although I honestly love them all ... Random likes (looks around bedroom) stuffies, anything Wiccan/Buddhist, Bewitched, gnomes and fairies and other mythical creatures, cats, Phoenix, butterflies, Suns basketball, daisies, dotee dolls, things related to Wales, Cerridwen, stereotypical black hatted Witch, my beautiful children, Celtic knots, desert/autumn colors (sedona red and terra cotta type), mandarin oranges, beef of any kind (I could never be a vegetarian!), dragonflies, bumble bees, beads, costume jewelry, stones and gems, pincushions, flowing long skirts, ... I be hard pressed to find something I didn't like!
Dislikes, Pet Peeves, Allergies, etc: Hmmm ... not much really. Don't like goth/punk stuff (but only because I'm an elderly lady and can't pull if off as well as the youngins'!) although I'd gladly use those motifs to make something for someone else, don't wear my religion on my sleeve (but I do enjoy showing it in ways other people don't even realize), I don't like standing out in a crowd too much (big orange hats would be out of the question!), no allergies, hate intentionally stupid and/or mean people, I hate liver ... I hate doctors (but nurses are awesome) ... I don't see much use for plaid, but it has it's place I guess ... I am terrified of real bats ...
