Wondering where I get charms from? Everywhere! There is no one source for everything. There are LOTS of sources around the internet. It just requires some searching to find what you like. Check eBay, Etsy, chubbychicocharms.com, beadsandcharm.com, and of course your local craft stores like Michael's, Joann's, & Hobby Lobby!
I'm originally from all over the great state of New Hampshire. (Live free or die!) I am a costume designer & technician, working & teaching at a small university. I love my students, who make me proud every day. I truly have the best job in the world: I get to spend my days making clothes (not to mention hats, jewelry, crowns, armor, etc.) for imaginary people!
I'm a bit of a Harry Potter nut, and can be found either in, or helping to run, quite a few of the HP Swaps here on Craftster. I love the Weasley family, and my long term goal is to one day live in my very own Burrow. Things I Love: Tea, green things including emerald green glass and green tea, silver jewelry, steampunkery & Victoriana, adventures, deep rich jewel tones, altered-art kinda fairies/fairy godmothers (not pretty little naked ethereal girls), glass, nature, all things celtic; vintage textiles, buttons & notions; wings & winged things (winged hourglasses, keys, hearts & stars); anything vintage & sewing or fashion related, something ordinary made extraordinary; putting art out into the world so that there's more good crafty-karma.
Dislikes, Pet Peeves, Allergies, etc: I hate "setteling" for anything less than my best. (I don't make bad crafts.) I dislike using numbers or single letters in place of whole words. I hate when people post pictures of things like "look at these muffins I made" and do not include the recipe. We're here to SHARE, not to tell you how awesome your muffins look. ::gets off soap box:: And while I like them well enough, I'm allergic to cats. :(
