Thanks.  On the inside of the spoon it looks like a panda bear.  On the back it looks like a crab.

My latest spoon.  Double Celtic twist in spalted alder.

I'd love to post "out there", but there isn't really a truly appropriate place to put woodworking.

Sorry I've been away for so long.  I've been really busy and not crafting.  I did take time to carve a couple of soup mugs.  These took forever to carve, but I'm happy with the results.

The wood is figured poplar, and I based the size on a regular soup mug, so I'm guessing they will hold a pint of soup.  They are going to Renaissance Faire with us in a couple of weeks.

I made some potion bottles today.  These are 1.25 inches high.  I used glitter glue and snow crystals for my potions.  And the plugs are cut up pencils.  Hokey, but I like them.

My first offering from the garden.  This is the earliest that I have ever got strawberries.  I'm surprised that they are ripe.

KK, glad to see things are improving and that you are back.

AIMR, hope things are ok where you are.

I love the wizard sticks, pinokeeo! Are they something for pagan rituals, or just pretty walking sticks?

They are going to a Renaissance faire.  I'm hoping to be able to sell a couple of them.

Pinokeeo, I like your logo. It's fun and cute and whimsical. I have a question though. Does the long nose mean the same as Pinocchio's? Wink

The logo that I use is a take-off from Carlo Collodi's Pinocchio, before Disney took it over.  The original was bald and wore a lederhosen.  I had it modified by a graphic artist by adding the walking stick, since I'm getting older.  The nose is still the same, no lie there.Cheesy

I use the character because he tried so hard to be a real person, and I have always admired that.  I also had it registered, so others couldn't accuse me of copying or using an illegal logo.  It was a long process, but now I can use it whenever it suits me.
