Love the flag people, great looking socks, and that blanket is gorgeous.

The keys are very light, almost translucent.  I always have to scrape them to get all the old crud off before I can use them.  I cut, sand and shape with a dremel and the smallest etching bit they sell.

Rox, don't give up on trying to do things with the keys.  The possibilities are endless.  If you etch, you can also color with india ink.

Ok, slight departure from the wood for awhile.  My hands have been giving me grief, so I decided to let the carving rest.

These earrings are made from rescued charms and ivory piano keys.  It was just to see if I could come up with something different.  I'm very happy with the results.

Please excuse the lousy pictures.  Anything this small is hard to photograph.  They are 1/2 inch wide and about one inch long or a little longer, depending on the size of the charm.

Mmmm.  That mac-n-cheese looks yummy.

And I love the baby shoes.

Those are tiny!!!!  I have to do bigger projects now as I really can't see well enough to do tiny things unless I take off my glasses...and then I can't see to walk... but I do enjoy seeing and having tiny things...just too adorable...

pinokeeo--a finish might make them feel more colorful, but I like them natural like that.

So, I just put a clear coat on them and some of them look better and some don't.  Go figure.

When I saw the spiral design, I immediately had to think of Gandalf's staff in LOTR.

I've done a staff like that.  Don't remember who got that one.

Best of luck to you, Renstar.

I love the encaustic wax art.  It seems that you can get a lot of detail with it.  Nice.

Can't wait to see the temp tattoo art.

I have just carved nine very small moravian stars for pendants.  I think I'm done carving for today.  My hands hurt.

I think I'm going to put a finish on these.  They look pretty blah.

Trina, your happy accident came out well.  They do look like river stones.

And I'm also not a shrine person, but I love what you did with them, Lindy.  I especially like the air and fire ones.

That's where I got the idea. Cheesy

I have been working on WIPs for the past couple of days.  Trying to clear out stuff so I can start with something new.

I made a spoon to go with the fork I made earlier.

I also made a twisted knot, just for fun.  This is about two inches long.

A very long spiral, just to see how long I could make it without breaking.  Nearly seven inches long and stained with a cherry stain.

A couple of moravian star ornaments.

More baby spoons and a full size spoon of the same design.

And a couple of short spirals.  I'm changing this design, so I needed to finish these up.
