Wow!  Everything is so beautiful, the shibori fabric, note cards, mosaic, pendants, stencils, and everything else that I've lost track of.  You all are on a roll.

My latest projects.

The first is my second piano clock.  I redesigned it, with a shallow dip in the middle for the clock hands.

The second project was a simple one.  I made a talking stick for my Native American friend En Ne Op eh, who is the head of the Three Feathers flute circle.  She gifted me a flute awhile back, so I wanted to make something special for her.

Yum!  Those sausages get my vote, especially with sweet onions.

The kids won't be finishing them until Labor Day weekend, but I will post photos of the finished tiles.  I'm excited to see what they do with them.

Thanks for the kirigami links, AIMR.  I am so far behind on my paper crafting.

My latest projects that actually are finished.

First, I made dice.  These are woodburned and so easy to make.  I'll probably include them in some of my homemade games.

My second items is a board challenge entry.  I'm calling this Sidewalk Scrabble.  I cut and sanded all the pieces and stencilled on the letters and number values.  I'll be taking these to another location where the kids will be painting the letters on, then they will play scrabble on a basketball court.

There are 100 tiles in the set, and the two blanks are included.

For size reference.  I'll probably make another set of these in a smaller version for myself and my family.

I don't know if you can read this.  It says, play scrabble.

This was a fun project and it only took one day to make these.

I'm loving all the projects.  I'm working on things, just don't have photos yet.

These are bali cherries, so they are sour cherries, more for pie making than just eating.

Our rainier tree isn't mature enough to produce yet.  I'm looking forward to the day when we get those.  Rainiers and royal anns are great just for eating.

Just sharing a photo that I took yesterday.  Back story:  We planted two dwarf cherry trees about seven years ago.  The last couple of years our harvest has been dismal, and before that we got nothing.  So I'm excited about these trees being full this year.  Here's the first pick from one of the trees.

These are already in the dehydrator.  The next batch will be made into pies for the freezer.

Bacon bowls will definitely be on my list of things to try.  They look yummy.

You radishes look wonderful!  I scaled back quite a bit in my garden and now sort of regret it...only tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers...I should have snuck in a few radishes and carrots!

It's not too late.  Radishes grow in just a few weeks.  As a matter of fact, I'm doing a second planting, and maybe a third this year.  I'm planting every three or four weeks, so that I will have them into the fall.

And now is the time for carrots, and they will grow until the frost hits them.  After that they need to come out of the ground, but they are sweeter for the frost.

And you can grow either one or both with your tomatoes.  Companion planting is a good thing.
