I have been sick for so long that I can't remember when I made anything last.  But today, I made it into the shop to get something done.  Not only did I get all my dust collectors emptied and cleaned, I made a few bud vases for the upcoming spring flowers.

All of them together:

And a couple of my favorites.  I like this one because of the grain in the wood.

And this one for the gentle sweeping curve that I managed.

Hope you like them.

Great looking jewelry pieces.  And I love, love, love the crocheted mandalas.  I wish I could do stuff like that.  And the miniature closet is awesome.

Mmmmm. Love that peacock quilt.

AIMR, thanks for the link.  I really didn't find an answer there, but I did get some good advice on my facebook page.  Cmarion3 also gave some good advice.  Thanks for that.

Kookaloo, those jeans came out great.  Now I know what to do for my very short legs.

Ok, so I've been working on this project off and on for the last week.  Turned bowl, maple with walnut feet, 16 inches across, seven inches high.  This was made from a solid chunk of wood.  More specifically, half a tree trunk.  I put a polyurethane finish on the bottom of the bowl, but the inside has a mineral oil finish, so that it can be used for food.

It is for making bread.  A dough bowl.

I have no desire to sell this item on craftster, but I am asking for an opinion on what you all think it might be worth.  I am taking it to a show this weekend to try to sell it.

Your watercolors are amazing.  I love the tiled piece.  I always wondered how that is done.

My latest piece, a celtic circle knot.  Just another experiment.  It's about two inches across and about a half inch thick, in walnut.

Wow!  So many new projects in the last few days.  Everything looks great.

Awesome projects.  I love the quilted pillow, the painted eggs, the wax art, the letters.

I'm being a slacker these days.  Mostly just cleaning up my environment and getting supplies organized.  I have been on the receiving end of somebody else's purging and trying to do some of my own.  It's crazy.

Love that giraffe and the zentangles are great.  I always think I want to try to do them, but somehow I never get there.

The watercolors are beautiful.  I love the hummingbird.  I think it came out nice.

I had some old books and decided to make another box for charity.

I started with an old world atlas.

Nothing on the back....

But inside...ta-da.  A box.

I was going to carve pages into the book, but the grain in the wood was so perfect that I just left it.
