1  Re: Winter Holiday Decorating Craftalong! in Craftalongs by MorbidKnits on: November 28, 2006 12:25:51 PM
This is our (the boyfriend unit and mine, plus our dog Sprocket) Christmas Tree. I have so far over 118 ornaments on it. I still have room around the bottom, here and there to add more.

I have been collecting Snowman/Snowflake ornamnets for the past 4 years and keep adding to my collection each year. I still have 27 more days to add more until Christmas. I especially like getting snowman ornaments for Christmas. Here is a pic of the middle of our tree.

I love my snowman ornaments so much. I do have a favorite though. It is a little glass snowman that is handpainted. I love it soooo much I named him today. Meet my favorite.

2  Re: Halloween Sock Monkeys *New Pictures of Bigger Sock Monkey Family*!! in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by MorbidKnits on: November 05, 2006 02:35:16 PM
So here they are... 5 of them so far. From left to right we have: Wicked, Skully, Batty, Rosey and then the little one is Mummy. I'm sure this family will grow to be more, but right now, I'm sock monkey drained. Unless I find some awesome socks then I just might have to make more. I also know they need eyes and a mouth. They will get those here shortly.

I dyed these 100 yrd hanks of white wool (lost the label, have no clue what the name of this yarn was). I bought them while on vacation in North Carolina for the purpose of dying with Wilton's Dye for the first time.

This is what I ended up with.
I'm very happy and love the pastel look of them.
I named them Cotton Candy 1, 2 and 3. Seemed fitting.
