1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Needing Help on a Simple "Mori Girl" - Styled Skirt Design on: December 17, 2014 11:02:05 AM
For your first question: Could you use some tulle to give dimension to the fabric?
For your second: could you incorporate an extra panel to the back of the skirt to make it flow more?
2  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Re: upgrading wall wood-shape-art thing on: December 17, 2014 10:57:24 AM
The pieces look pretty delicate. My best guess without seeing one in person, would be to use a stretch fabric and sew some loops on to wrap around the pieces. Or maybe use paper with rubber cement.
3  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Discussion and Questions / Re: Baking glass ornaments? on: December 17, 2014 10:53:39 AM
You should put the ornament in before turning the oven on. Then turn off the oven and let the ornament cool with the oven. This helps not only set the pain, but keeps the glass from going into a drastic temp change. They will cause it to break.
4  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Discussion and Questions / Re: Grow as an artist? on: December 17, 2014 10:45:55 AM
Living in small rural areas can present challenges. Or even if you have restraints.

For me I find the internet a source of great inspiration. Craftster is one of my favorites, of course. Check YouTube for videos, as well as online classes. There are so many resources to explore, and in a range of prices.
