Prompt:  January Battle Royale - Warm
Team: Randomizer
Bonus Points: UFO
Project Name: Ripple Stitch Crochet Blanket
Project Link: n/a
Brief Description: What's a better way to keep warm than snuggling up with a fuzzy afghan?  I started this for my friend early in the year last year in hopes to give it to her for Christmas.  She had seen one on my couch that I made in a similar fashion and asked for me to will it to her.  I picked it back up in December to try to finish it and only got about half way done.  I just finished it last night and I'm soooo proud.  It's soft and fuzzy and warm.  I told my friend that after all of that work, she needed to pretend she liked it even if she doesn't. Smiley

Prompt:  December - Around the World - Japan
Team: Randomizer
Bonus Points: n/a
Project Name: Cute Narwhal
Project Link: n/a
Brief Description: I made this cute Narwhal for a friend for her birthday.  Her birthday was in November, but I didn't make this until December.  All of my friends know that I'm always late with crafted gifts. Smiley  I used my Inktense pencils for the narwhal and a combination of paint and old gelli prints for the background. The narwhal is mounted on some cardboard and then attached to the background with foam mounting squares to create a little depth.

I received from artsycandice!  She and I traded some artwork.  I got the most adorable drawing of pretty much everything I said I liked!  It's absolutely amazing.  I can't decide which character is my favorite. Smiley  I think the cute bear, but I'm not sure.

I also got these cute little stuffed ornaments that were extremely difficult to photograph. Smiley  If you have better ones, please post them, Artsycandice!

Whoa!  All awesome cards so far, and I'm going to add to that list!

I received two ATCs from Rockinbearranch.
My themes she chose were Movables and Artist's choice, I believe.
I love the pop art look!  So cool!

I received from Suereal!  We did a monster swap and I received some amazing monstrous goodies!

A cute monster ring and a glittery butterfly ring.

This monstrous bug with lots of cool additions.  The butt is a light bulb with glow in the dark paint, the wings are whirly gigs from a tree, and the head is a mini pinecone thingy.

This dinosaur type monster with awesome human teeth and a gigantic googly eye on top. The teeth glow in the dark!  Eerie and fun!!!

This amazing monster tote.  It is so awesome.  It's okay to be jealous. Smiley  He's about a foot and a half tall and ready to be filled with goodies.  I'm going to use it as a project tote next to my couch.

I also got some cool goodies. A Kinder Egg that I already ate and some Coffee Crisp Canadian chocolate.  I also got some ATC blanks that I'm going to be using to create some ATCs for Suereal's package.
